On December 4 and 5, trainings for managers and specialists of the Company on the topic “Engaging leadership. Part 2”.
Recall that the first meeting dedicated to engaging leadership was held in September. At that time, our colleagues, together with Igor Ivanov, the leading coach of BFG Consulting, developed leadership skills and set specific goals for themselves: several draft changes were formed, the deadlines for their implementation and those responsible for this process were outlined. The projects were aimed at increasing employee engagement in training and solving internal problems of departments, during which field managers assume responsibility. “Due to the fact that the Company’s top management gives technologists, craftsmen, and engineers the opportunity to take the initiative and find solutions at their own level, we are simultaneously developing team building skills. We help employees realize their inner potential and ambitions,” Igor Ivanov explained.
The participants of the training had two months to implement the projects. The analysis of the projects showed what worked and what did not. Together with the coach, we discussed in detail the reasons why the implementation failed or was not fully successful. Who lacked leadership, responsibility, motivation, willpower, and time. Igor Ivanov also presented new leadership development techniques for employees. After that, the current draft changes (five projects) were re-formed and clear goals and deadlines were outlined. The main purpose of this training series is to encourage employees to take on more responsibility and initiative. Apply non-directive management tools.
The global goal of the training programs is to develop the Company, production and improve performance in terms of the quality of teamwork, employee engagement in the life of production from different sides and the development of “soft skills” (communication skills for effective interaction with people). “Through leadership, we influence the growth of results,— commented Igor Ivanov. — We are improving relationships within the team, contributing to greater team cohesion, coherence of actions not only of current managers, but also of the personnel reserve — those whom the Company will bet on in 5, 10, 15 years.”
The coach also said that in 2025, the training will continue and will, as always, be focused on production goals. “New interesting educational programs are waiting for us! — He promised. — I would like to take this opportunity to thank NTL Packing for fruitful cooperation and wish the Company’s staff a Happy New Year. I wish you to adequately meet the external challenges that face us and the country as a whole. Good health, teamwork! So that you can serve as each other’s support and support in such difficult times. Together we are a force! And together we can do everything we need for a good life!”
