On November 12, guests were welcomed at the NTL Packing production base — 9th grade students from Svetogorsk Secondary School arrived to get acquainted with the company.
The students were greeted by Anna Sergeevna Chunina, a leading HR specialist, who gave a fascinating presentation about the history of the plant. The students learned about the heyday and decline of production, closely related to the transformations that affected the whole country. The fact that during the war years the plant had a secret status and its own number — 517, which means that, if necessary, it could be repurposed for the production of weapons. About the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union and the selfless work of workers who, even in difficult times, did not abandon their native production, hoping for the best. And the best came with the arrival of a group of young investors in the late 90s, who breathed new life into the Lesogorsky Artificial Fiber Plant, turning it into a powerful modern enterprise, the leader of the domestic flexible packaging market.
It was the first time the children heard that almost all the things and food they encounter in everyday life are packaged in NTL products. Therefore, with special interest, they went on a tour of the workshops to get acquainted with the samples of finished products and see firsthand the process of their manufacture. The head of the training center, Zinaida Nikolaevna Bogdanchikova, and certification engineer Vladimir Tarasovich Andrushko conducted an excursion for schoolchildren.
After seeing the complex technological processes, high-quality equipment, and the professionals who manage it, the guys asked the Company representatives the questions they had during the tour. With the pragmatism typical of young people who are on the verge of choosing a profession and a life path, they asked about the vacancies offered by the company, both for working professions and engineering, the prospects and the time frame in which newcomers are trained. The fact that NTL Packing not only accepts established specialists into its ranks, but also “grows” its own is a great advantage. It was important for the young people to learn that the Company promotes the career growth of its employees, advanced training, and is interested in realizing their full potential.
At the end of the tour, the guests thanked for the interesting and eventful program and wished the company continued prosperity. In turn, our colleagues expressed the hope that in the near future some of them will return here in order to become part of the well-coordinated NTL Packing team.
