Improving the efficiency of the team

On April 16 and 17, another training session from a series of training programs aimed at developing teamwork skills was held at the NTL Packing production site.

Igor Ivanov, a leading specialist at BFG-Consulting, participated in the training, which was attended by teams consisting of representatives of the Company’s divisions. Colleagues who have already been trained in team building as part of their structural unit met in general practice.

The vices of the team — such as distrust, irresponsibility, fear of conflict, undemanding and indifference to the result — were worked out taking into account the entire chain of teamwork within the Company. The participants of the training passed a test, during which Igor Ivanov determined the level of each vice. The next stage was practical exercises on the topic of providing feedback. As the coach noted, in many teams there is a problem of distrust of each other, directly related to the lack of a culture of proper feedback. Hence, the following vice is formed — the fear of conflict. Employees often avoid conflicts, which inevitably affects the work process.

Our colleagues learned to give feedback, sort out types of conflicts, trust each other, and talk about their difficulties constructively. Many of them positively noted the effectiveness of the training and practical exercises they were involved in these days. “It is important that the unity and strength of the team are not just words,” Igor Ivanov said, summing up the results. — The ability to work in a team, a culture of trust, safety, feedback, conflict resolution and increased responsibility for the result are the most important skills. And today, the NTL Packing team has taken another serious step to increase the efficiency of their work and the success of the Company.”
