Defender of the Fatherland Day Tournament

Our colleagues, the players of the NTL Packing football team, celebrated Defender of the Fatherland Day in a maximum activity mode and took part in a mini—football tournament, which was held at the sports and recreation complex of Kamennogorsk.

8 teams competed for the prizes of the tournament, “NTL Packing” joined the group with the teams “Granit”, “Prima” and “Boys”. According to the results of the group, the guys reached the semifinals, where the game was not so successful anymore — our team lost to the future champions of the tournament. In the final series of games, they fought for the 3rd place with the Granit team. It was an intense match, and our players fought hard to reach the penalty shootout, where, unfortunately, they lost.

According to the results of the tournament, our team is in 4th place. Despite the fact that it was not possible to enter the top three this time, team captain Vadim Nemakov noted that all the players fought with maximum efficiency and demonstrated many bright and memorable moments during the tournament. For example, striker Timur Timerbayev conceded only one goal for the title of the best scorer of the tournament (he scored 7 goals). Vadim thanked the guys for their perseverance and will to win, as well as the management of NTL Packing for supporting the team and the athletic lifestyle among the company’s employees.
