Results of the NTL Packing Hockey Cup

On January 18, the closing ceremony of the NTL Packing Hockey Cup tournament took place at the ice arena of the Svetogorsk Sports and Recreation Complex.

For several months, exciting hockey battles between amateur teams from Svetogorsk and Vyborg took place as part of the competition. The corporate hockey team “NTL Packing” also took part in the tournament. The team was formed in 2024 on the initiative of the Company’s commercial director, Nazar Nikolaevich Skirda, and brought together connoisseurs and fans of this sport, as well as their support groups. The team began its first year of existence with a bright victory in the Svetogorsk Amateur Team Championship. And already in the fall of 2024, NTL Packing, being a company that supports sports and an active lifestyle among members of its workforce and all residents of the Svetogorsky settlement, organized its own tournament, acting as the main sponsor of the competition. The main goal is to continue the glorious hockey traditions on the territory of the settlement and support the athletes who responded to this initiative with pleasure.

The third Sunday in January was the final one. The closing ceremony of the tournament began with a vocal and choreographic composition performed by local creative and sports groups – VIA Svetogor and the figure skating department of the Olympic Reserve sports school Favorit. The flags of Russia and NTL soared over the dazzling white ice, patriotic chords and words honoring athletes who are strong in spirit and body sounded. With this attitude, the organizers started awarding the heroes of the day.

Nazar Nikolaevich Skirda greeted and congratulated the winners of the tournament. He also expressed hope that the hockey community of Svetogorsky settlement will continue to develop. His performance was supported by the captains of the participating teams. They thanked the hosts of the tournament for the good reception, the opponents for the interesting and emotional battles, and the fans for their unwavering support and tireless empathy for the players.

The award ceremony was held by representatives of NTL Packing Irina Vyacheslavovna Veselova and Elena Alekseevna Fomina. They presented medals, cups and gifts to the winners.
The prizes were distributed as follows:
I place — HC Olympian
II place — HC Svetogorsky CBK
III place — HC Hawks
IV place — HC NTL Packing.

During the ceremony, the best strikers and defenders from each team were announced.
At NTL Packing, these are Andrey Shcherbakov and Maxim Larin.
“Hawks” — Ivan Makoveev and Sergey Zlotko.
“Olympian” — Oleg Tropin and Alexander Boikov.
Svetogorsky Central Bank — Kirill Kirenkov and German Kovalev.
Ivan Zhuikov was recognized as the best scorer of the tournament.
The best goalkeeper is Alexey Makaseev.
Our Alexander Alekseenko became the best coach.
And the best, most active fan is Natalia Generalova.
