On November 30, representatives of NTL Packing — leading HR manager Anna Chunina, economist Elena Fomina, extruder machinists Vadim Nemakov and Yuri Kudeshov, flexographic printers Ilya Tornev and Alexey Razinkin visited the Svetogorsk coworking center for an exciting presentation “Rosmolodezh. Grants”.

“Rosmolodezh. Grants” is one of the key activities of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs “Rosmolodezh” through grant support for youth initiatives. The director of MBU “KSK Svetogorsk”, the ambassador of Rosmolodezh, told in detail about how any young person, a Russian citizen between the ages of 14 and 35, can participate in the project and win a grant to implement his idea. Our team employs many young talented specialists, for whom such a federal project can be a great opportunity to discover and realize themselves. The topics of the projects that apply for grants are diverse: It can be sports, culture, education, entrepreneurship, public initiatives. The amount of grants also varies depending on the project in which applications are submitted. Ksenia Olegovna said that participation in “Rosmolodezh. Grants” can be either in correspondence or in full-time format. As a rule, the face-to-face format involves participation in a youth forum. The forums are held in different parts of the country. They are large-scale events during which participants will meet with interesting successful people, politicians, various workshops and lectures, leisure activities and, of course, a grant competition. At the same time, all costs are borne by the organizers, participants are only required to get to the venue on their own.

Ksenia Olegovna shared her personal experience of participating in Rosmolodezh.Grants”, told about why the expert commission can reject the participant’s project and what are the main criteria for successful protection. In particular, in 2021, she won a grant for the purchase of virtual reality glasses for the Svetogorsk City Library in order to attract young people to visit the institution.
Despite the fact that it is not an easy process to create your own project, properly design it and protect it, Rosmolodezh provides detailed plans and instructions, specialized training at the Rosmolodezh Academy. Grants” and expert consultations at the stage of project creation to minimize risks.

After the presentation, a tea party was organized, and Ksenia Olegovna was asked interesting and clarifying questions in the format of a casual conversation. Our colleagues were interested in sports and projects, as well as financial details: where the funds come from if the grant is won and how the reporting is carried out after the project is implemented.
