Guided tours for schoolchildren

In March, the next stage of a large-scale project on excursion programs for students of educational institutions of the Svetogorsky settlement at NTL Packing was completed.

Starting from December 2024, every week the NTL production site hosted those who wanted to get acquainted with the activities of one of the leading manufacturers of flexible packaging in Russia.

For high school students of Svetogorsk and Lesogorsk secondary schools, this is a great opportunity to determine their professional orientation, because NTL is interested in the influx of young personnel, and young people are interested in a future worthy, reliable employer. As for the younger guests, these are students in grades 2, 3, 5, and 7. For them, our excursions have become an exciting adventure into the world of flexible packaging production. The children studied the technological processes with great pleasure and interest, saw raw materials, samples of finished products, modern high-tech equipment equipped with the plant’s workshops, and people operating complex mechanisms.

The excursions for the children were conducted by our colleagues Anna Sergeevna Chunina, Elena Alekseevna Fomina, Vladimir Tarasovich Andrushko, Zinaida Nikolaevna Bogdanchikova. They told the students about the history of the plant, the periods of decline and prosperity, the role of the enterprise in the context of historical events in the country and, of course, about the people who were able to make it a modern successful player in the domestic flexible packaging market. Also, during the excursions, many questions were received from the children and their teachers. In particular, the high school students were interested in topics related to salary levels, career opportunities, training, and the Company’s interest in staff development. Perhaps for some of them, this interest will develop into a clear intention and desire to link their professional activities with NTL in the future. Even now, students who have decided on further training in technical specialties at the college of Svetogorsk can count on completing an internship at our factory with subsequent guaranteed employment.
