“Hot” games on ice

In March, NTL Packing took part in a series of games as part of the ice hockey tournament, which was held at the ice arena of the Svetogorsk Sports and Recreation complex.

On March 2, a friendly hockey match took place between the teams of NTL Packing and Energia. Despite the fact that this was the first game for the newly formed hockey team “NTL”, which included employees of the company, the participants demonstrated teamwork and mutual understanding on the ice.

I was pleased that a large number of fans came to support our men — employees of the Company and their family members, including the manager Alexey Sergeevich Potachev and the head of production Irina Vyacheslavovna Veselova. Flags, chants and sincere empathy gave the hockey players strength and confidence.

In total, 3 halves of 20 minutes were played, during which the NTL players scored 6 goals against their opponents (2 of them were scored by Vadim Nemakov and one each by Nazar Skirda (team captain), Artyom Skirda, Nikolai Tikhonov and Andrei Laptev).

On March 9, the NTL Packing team met on the ice with the hockey players of the Svetogorsky CBK. This game turned out to be so emotional and intense that many fans lost their voices by the end of it. Both teams are strong, both are primed for success. There were some very tough moments during the match, led by one or the other. Let’s note the two goals scored by “NTL” in the opponent’s goal and met with a deafening roar from the stands. Maxim Larin and Evgeny Toletov scored the goals.

By the third half, we came up with a score of 3:2 in favor of Svetogorsk Central Hockey Club, and despite the fact that it was almost under the control of NTL, our hockey players failed to draw the score. Nevertheless, they demonstrated a very decent, honest game and a result that speaks to the skill, teamwork and determination of the team!

After the match, the team captains addressed the players and fans, thanked each other for the game and commented on the results.

The captain of the NTL Packing team, Nazar Nikolaevich Skirda, expressed gratitude to the organizers of the tournament and the fans who cheered the hockey players on that day.

According to the results of the tournament, “NTL Packing” is in second place. Defender Maxim Larin was recognized as the best player of the team, and our youngest participant, 14—year-old Vadim Fomin, was also awarded. He defended the honor of the company his parents work for on the ice.
