NTL honors its heroes

On June 27, the whole team celebrated the Chemist’s Day professional holiday at NTL Packing.

The event traditionally began with the ceremonial construction of sections and divisions. Alexey Sergeevich Potachev and Nazar Nikolaevich Skirda greeted the assembled workers on behalf of the Company’s management.

Chemist’s Day this year was combined with another landmark event — the opening of the NTL Packing stadium. The new sports ground, which includes several areas for team sports and a recreation area, will become a place of attraction for the company’s employees and all interested residents of the Svetogorsky settlement. The ribbon was cut by Alexey Sergeevich Potachev, Nazar Nikolaevich Skirda and Elena Mikhailovna Pugacheva, Deputy administration of the Svetogorskoye Urban Settlement.

The key moment of the celebration was the awarding of the company’s employees, whose work experience at NTL has been measured for decades. The most respected members of the team have given the company more than 50 years of their lives. These people are the living history of NTL, which began with the Lesogorsky Artificial Fiber plant and continues to take shape now at a modern enterprise that is the leader of the domestic flexible packaging market.

The main characters of the day were called to the stage by Commercial director Nazar Nikolaevich Skirda to loud applause. The honored ones were presented with Certificates of Honor and gifts — exclusive gold badges.

Participants of the NTL Packing corporate sports communities were awarded Certificates of Honor and memorable gifts for their active participation in the company’s sports and leisure activities. Last year it was the NTL football team, and this year another community was formed — the hockey team. Already at the start, the NTL hockey players started with a big victory — winning the Svetogorsk City Championship Cup among labor collectives. Team captains Nazar Nikolaevich Skirda and Vadim Georgievich Nemakov greeted their colleagues, thanked the Company for their motivation, and the fans for their support, and called the athletes on stage.

They also noted Dmitry Nikolaevich Loginov, the most devoted fan of the NTL Packing sports communities, who does not miss a single match and provides assistance to the teams in solving organizational and technical issues.

The solemn part of the holiday ended with congratulations from Elena Mikhailovna Pugacheva, who conveyed a congratulatory address from the head of the municipality and the head of the administration and wished the Company success and prosperity.

The soloists of the Svetogorsk House of Culture performed the anthem “NTL Packing”, the flags of the Company soared over the green surface of the stadium — the guys from the Rainbow dance ensemble again pleased the company’s staff with a choreographic composition dedicated to “NTL”.
In a friendly formation, colleagues went to their workplaces, and those who came to the holiday on their day off with family members played volleyball at the new sports ground.
