“NTL Packing” starts in the Svetogorsky CBK Hockey Cup

In March, the Svetogorsk CBK Hockey Cup among labor collectives started. The hockey team “NTL packing” is taking part in the sports event.

The first game for our athletes in the framework of the CBK Cup took place on March 22. On the ice of the arena of the Svetogorsk sports and recreation complex, NTL Packing met with the Vyborg Hawks. From the first minutes of the match, the hockey players rushed into battle and almost immediately opened the scoring. Our Ivan Gordeev sent the puck into the Hawks’ goal. 1-0!

And in the second period, the NTL hockey players gave some amazing moments to their fans, who, as usual, came a lot to support their favorites. It was a series of beautiful goals against the Vyborg team. Their authors were Vadim Fomin, Andrey Shcherbakov, Nazar Skirda, Nazar Zykov and again Ivan Gordeev.
It was only at the beginning of the third half that the Hawks finally managed to break through our defense and roll the puck into Roman Averin’s goal. But that single goal didn’t change the overall picture of the match in any way. The game eventually ended with a score of 6:1 and the victory of HC “NTL Packing”.

And on March 29, HC “NTL Packing” played with the host team of the tournament, Svetogorsky CBK.

The game started with a very positive moment — the organizers of the tournament congratulated Vadim Fomin, the youngest member of the NTL team, on his 15th birthday.

The first period of the match was marked by multiple active attacks by Svetogorsky CBK. The powerful pressure of the tournament hosts was effective — two goals were scored in our goal. By the end of the period, the NTL hockey players also began to attack actively, creating dangerous moments at the gates of the SCBC, but they could not break through the opponent’s defense. Despite the strong play of our goalkeeper Roman Averin and numerous attempts by the attackers to open the goal of the tournament hosts, the NTL hockey players failed to score a goal until the middle of the third period. During this time, three more goals from SCBC “flew” into our goal and the score became 5:1 in favor of the opponent.

And it wasn’t until the 16th minute of the third period that our number 15, Dmitry Klyukanov, finally scored such a long-awaited and important goal! There were also moments at the end of the last period when our hockey players desperately tried in the last minutes to reduce the gap in the score, however, these attempts, alas, proved ineffective. And in the 18th minute, Svetogorsky CBK scored the last, sixth goal against NTL. Thus, the game ended with a score of 6:1 in favor of the home team.

The NTL hockey players played two games mirroring the score in this tournament, and so far the team remains in a fairly strong position in the standings. There are new meetings ahead and, of course, new victories!
