The bronze medal of the “Friends Cup” belongs to the NTL team!

On December 9, the players of the NTL Packing football team took part in the 2023 Friends Cup mini-football tournament, which was held in Kamennogorsk, in the building of a new sports and recreation complex.

Our team played four matches during the tournament. The first game was victorious — Azat Timerbayev, Sergey Zinchenko and team captain Vadim Nemakov scored goals against the opponent. The game ended with a score of 3:1.

The following matches were played with the champion of the tournament, the Beaton team, and the silver medalist, Granit. The guys fought to the end, but unfortunately, they lost to stronger opponents. The result was 0:2 against Beaton and 0:1 against Granit. Therefore, in the final match, which was crucial for the team, our players gathered all their strength and all their potential to win and enter the top three finalists. And they succeeded!

Thanks to the goal scored by Azat Timerbayev, the game ended 1-0 in our favor. Thus, NTL Packing became the bronze medalist of the tournament.

Commenting on the results, Vadim Nemakov noted that all the team members showed themselves in the best possible way, special thanks to Ilya Shapovalov and Timur Timerbaev, who, despite injuries, entered the field and showed an excellent game.

Ilya Shapovalov was also recognized as the best player of the team — for repeatedly saving goals from opponents’ goals.
