The spirit of adventure is calling!

On July 27, in St. Petersburg, at the Zenit Sports Games Palace, a large-scale sporting event was held — the Cup of Factories of the North-West.

The intersectoral corporate football tournament brought together participants and spectators from all over the country. The players and fans of the NTL Packing football team, as well as the Company’s employees who wanted to become a part of this unique project, centrally traveled to the competition venue.
Peter greeted with heat and an exciting spirit of adventure.

The program of the event, which lasted all day, included an entertainment program for fans, aquagrim, animation for children, game consoles, a buffet area and much more. But the main action was undoubtedly the tournament itself, during which the teams were divided into 4 groups of 5 participants each. At the same time, each team, according to the rules of the tournament, had 5 players + a goalkeeper (with an unlimited number of substitutions).
NTL Packing was represented by Vadim Nemakov, Ilya Shapovalov, Alexey Razinkin, Yuri Kudeshov, Ivan Nelipovich, Oleg Dubsky, Dmitry Yelensky, Makar Marakasov, Vladislav Pogrebnyak, Timur Timerbayev, Evgeny Zolotov and Igor Zakiev.

Following the results of the group stage, our team advanced to the 1/4 playoffs. Three NTL matches were won and one was drawn. After a long pause in the game, our guys returned to the field, where they met with the Gazprom Gas Distribution team. In the main time, the opponents drew 0-0, but luck was not on our side in the subsequent penalty shootout — the match ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of Gazprom.
Thus, according to the results of the tournament, “NTL” is in 5th place out of 20. Our players received commemorative medals and a cup for participating in the tournament. Dmitry Yelensky is recognized as the best scorer of the tournament!

The fans of “NTL” also distinguished themselves in a special competition for support groups. Colleagues took the second place and were also awarded memorable prizes and gifts.
The team spent this unforgettable day vividly and as cohesively as possible, filled with sports excitement, new impressions and events.
