Irina V. Veselova, Head of Production at NTL Packing, and Sergey O. Barnaul, Chief Engineer, spoke about the “newcomers” in the company’s technological equipment fleet, which will significantly increase production capacity, printing quality, efficiency and speed in the repair and maintenance of parts.
The ALLSTEIN SPRINT eight-color flexographic printing machine has been successfully installed and put into commercial operation at the printing site. The commissioning period together with the German colleagues lasted a month and included installation, configuration and staff training. The new machine is equipped with young but experienced employees who are as ready as possible for the high-tech printing process with Allstein Sprint. The main difference between this machine is the superautomatization of processes: it comes complete with an assembly machine, information about the new print run is sent from it to the machine automatically, thus significantly saving time on making an order.
The maximum speed of the Allstein Sprint 8 is 400 meters per minute, and the expected effect of commissioning is to increase the output volume of the printing site by 5-6 million linear meters.
The updates also affected the repair and maintenance service – a new turning and screw—cutting machine of the domestic manufacturer “Typhoon” TS-630TF1 was launched.
Its Soviet-made predecessor went on a “well-deserved rest”. Its new modern counterpart has an increased durability, is equipped with a 15 kW engine, and is highly reliable. It is an indispensable assistant in the repair of plant equipment parts.
