On September 24 and 25, a training on “Engaging leadership” was held at the NTL Packing production site.
Together with Igor Ivanov, the leading coach of BFG-Consulting, NTL’s managers and mentors studied leadership skills, interaction with people, and learned how to delegate tasks by establishing the right feedback. One of the key points of the training program was the opportunity for participants to evaluate themselves as leaders through special exercises and see their strengths and weaknesses: do they take responsibility, are they ready to solve problems, or are they waiting for someone else to solve them, and give leadership to another person?
Over the course of two days, two groups of managers and mentors, each with about 30 people, completed the training on engaging leadership. Many managers have adopted the draft changes that were created during the training. The participants of the training identified those responsible for the implementation of these projects in practice as part of the workflow. “In a month, we will hold another meeting, where we will check how the projects were implemented, what helped or hindered. And we will continue to study leadership technologies,” Igor Ivanov said, commenting on the results of the training. — The purpose of this training is to develop competencies and increase the level of leadership in production. Taking into account what is happening in the world today, modern political and economic realities, it is very important to remain a strong company inside. And for this, it is necessary to develop and strengthen certain competencies, to develop leaders.”
