We attract young specialists
NTL Packing specialists held a series of informational meetings with students and schoolchildren of the Svetogorsky settlement.
On November 9, Andrey Yuryevich Tselikov, Chief Technologist, Sergey Alexandrovich Vasilkov, Director of Quality, and Anna Sergeevna Chunina, Senior HR Manager, met with students of the Polytechnic College. And on November 16, our colleagues visited Svetogorsk Comprehensive School — Anna Chunina and economist Elena Alekseevna Fomina talked with future graduates.
For these young people, the crucial issue of choosing a future profession is among the first on the agenda. Unfortunately, graduates are becoming less likely to choose the industrial sector. Enterprises across the country are experiencing a shortage of engineering and labor specialists. NTL Packing is a dynamically developing company. Every year, workshops are equipped with the latest equipment, production capacities are increasing, and in parallel with the growing demand for products, the need for human resources is also growing. The “struggle” for staff is becoming acute and is a motivating factor for employers to improve the working conditions of staff. NTL Packing is actively developing internal corporate policies and social projects aimed at caring for employees not only within the work process, but also outside it. Cultural and sports leisure projects are being implemented, financial support is being provided, and the territory of the enterprise is being continuously improved and improved: a sports ground is being built, its own canteen will appear in the near future, and the issue of opening a dormitory is being resolved. A young specialist joining the NTL Packing team of professionals acquires experience and internships with experienced mentors, and has all the opportunities for professional development and growth in the Company. And already this year, a program for cooperation with Svetogorsk Polytechnic College will be launched, which will make this process even more efficient. As part of the program, a group of students will be formed, under the supervision of NTL Packing. The students will be able to receive a scholarship, complete an internship at NTL, followed by guaranteed employment.
Our colleagues told schoolchildren and students about this, emphasizing that NTL Packing is the leader in the domestic flexible packaging market. Our partners and customers are the largest companies, well—known popular brands that everyone encounters in life. The students were shown samples of finished products, and they learned about the technological features of production.
In a fascinating and accessible way, our experts told about the history of the company, which begins in 1936. The Lesogorsky plant has undergone a lot over the past decades, but a new milestone in its development has begun since 1996. It was then that a team of young ambitious entrepreneurs came to the plant, who decided to revive the former power of the enterprise, lost during the difficult transformations in the country. And they succeeded. In a short period of time, NTL has become well-known and respected in the packaging market, and today it is a worthy representative of the country’s industrial sector.
